The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml of water tank. The water tank will empty itself, and the bin is auto-refilling.

The only downside I've discovered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if needed), it's a pain to take off the mount itself for manual washing. I've noticed that any carpet that the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener on mounts, which could cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of intelligent features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can configure and manage these through the Roborock app that is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and track the battery's life. But you'll need to jump through a few hoops to enable voice control on this model, which is a shame considering the quality of its performance.

3. Dreame X40

The X40 is easy to maintain and has many features that make it an excellent choice for busy families.
