The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most advanced robot to date is the Roomba j7+. The most significant advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. This uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to send you a picture of an object that it encounters, so that you can instruct that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly leaving no trace it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't vacuum areas you don't want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off with your voice.

The design is also better than the other models. It has an elegant, top piece that appears like a toy rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System is also self-emptying which will cut down your cleaning time.

In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ swiftly took away dirt, dust, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in its place instead of scattering it on the floor. It even could capture sand and small gravel which other robots can't. And all this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.

The j7+, though not as smart robot vacuums as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and it isn't able to clean the stairs, it's an excellent choice for those who require both mopping and a vacuum. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to know whether they're working until you see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, robot Sweeper your best option is probably one that is a hybrid. These bots are equipped with a water tank, so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also have a number of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but they often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock makes some of our most loved robotic vacuums robot, and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and while it's not equipped with certain features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent choice if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes down to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it a great option for homes with many furniture pieces. It is also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where many cheaper robot vacuums fall short. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent too, with very little misses in corners and along walls.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled via just a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map or change the labeling of rooms.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make the machine easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place emptying the bin can be accomplished easily. It also features a large LCD display which is great to have when creating schedules or changing settings. This isn't an essential feature for the majority of people but it will assist you in keeping track of the maintenance intervals for your robot with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are some of the best on the market however, it's also expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks stunning and is able to be concealed when not in use. The station's main selling point is that it automates many tasks, functions and chores that other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive as well. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tested that do an excellent job of picking up debris on unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it could get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the home. It's also unable to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who need an automated vacuum that can do it all.

If you're looking to save money, or just don't care about the limitations of this robot there are many other options on the market, including a lot of eufy models priced substantially less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and offers the same experience in the app, but with more features like stair climbing, a full-function dock, and better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing Robot Sweeper vacuums with the right balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpet floors, as well as a mopping function at an affordable price. It's easy to setup simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on and plug in the charging dock. The app guides you through a few steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be located close to an outlet that has enough space to move.

The G30 is a small device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, so it can be tucked away under couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is more modest than other models, and features a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The main characteristic that sets the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to draw an image of the unmovable items in its path. It can remember the items it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.

The sleek G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better built, incurs lower recurring costs, charges more quickly and has the same battery life, while providing better performance on bare floors and low-pile carpet. It comes with a larger dust bin that does not require the same amount of emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't need to be emptied as often and it's less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
