Three Wheeled Buggies

Three-wheeled buggies are great for strolling around the neighborhood or for jogging. Their compact design makes them easy to maneuver even in tight places.

Its tyres (which are inflatable so need occasionally pumping) offer built-in suspension that was very comfortable for my kids.

Another thing to think about is the size of the seat and shape. It should be big enough for your child's comfort and you will also want it to be able to recline so that they can lie flat. Some three-wheel buggies offer a full lie-flat option while others only allow for the parent to be facing one.

Luckily, most models have compact folding options that let you take off the front wheels to make compact storage.

Easy to Manoeuvre

A three-wheeler can be more maneuverable for a child. They are designed to ensure that the front wheels can be turned on a dime and are easy to navigate, making them ideal for difficult terrain like parks, cobblestones as well as bumpy roads and dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tried the 3-wheeler with her toddler, and she wrote: "The Terrain is a pleasure to drive in rough terrain. The front swivel wheel was especially helpful." I was also awed by the way it handled the kerbs, particularly when using the brake operated by hand. I found it to be extremely steady when I was driving downhill or on uneven ground."

The only downside to this great maneuverability, is that the larger wheels of the 3 wheeler pushchair off road wheel buggy might make it difficult to fit into tight spaces. This is something you should be aware of when your home is an urban area. If this is a problem then a 4-wheeled buggy could be a better option for you.
