Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't create as much noise when vacuuming or mopping. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to utilize a specific mopping solution and is sold separately. It's easy to install and works well however this is something you'll need to be aware of in case you're purchasing this vacuum for the sole reason of mopping.

It's a little old-fashioned to have separate modules for vacuuming and mopping, but it does mean you don't need to worry about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank of water.

The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming and mopping. Its best robot vacuum cleaner and mop feature is its accurate floorplan map, which it employs when cleaning. The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our test, but it also has unique features that make it worth a look. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its huge dock, which serves as the robot's charging base and the housing for two water tanks, a sink for cleaning and a 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically empties.

The base also comes with a set of buttons to control the system. These allow you to start a cleaning task and then recall the Robot Vacuums That Mop or use the dock's automatic emptying process. Press two of the buttons to toggle the child lock, which is a nice feature for parents who are worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at recognising objects.

The X1 can be prone to become stuck when it is entangled in a blockage, such as a power cable draped over a rug. It won't work until you untangle it manually. While it was not common but it was a very frustrating experience when it happened and especially because the X1 Omni doesn't have an "stuck" status alert in its application.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll have to manually switch between the two, which isn't too bad apart from the fact that mopping pads aren't washed and dried between uses which could lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a huge contrast to the basic black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. And it's an impressive sight in an industry dominated by boxy units.
